It took us a couple of days and a few mishaps, but we made it to the ocean. I spent a glorious afternoon on Heceta Beach after a morning of rain. This very long strip of sand borders the town of Florence and features one of the Oregon Coast’s many famous lighthouses. The moisture from the morning showers caused some ground fog to drift along the sand creating a misty backdrop for my ocean views. It was warm and sunny with just a light breeze - perfection! It’s hard to explain what the ocean does for my soul. It’s a connection in the deepest way to the past, present and future. It’s so vast, powerful, and mesmerizing. I’m thankful for what these hours did for my perspective as well as creative inspiration.

I can feel
That sigh of relief as you relax on the log and just sit and inhale and exhale slowly. 😎🌊
Cathey I can see why you love the Ocean so much. It’s calming just looking at the pictures. I hope you have a relaxing rest of your trip you and Keith.
