Writing Workshop
September 7 on Tuesday Creations Substack Live!
Some of you already know that I host another Substack page called Tuesday Creations. It’s a group of collaborative creators who share their writing, painting, photography - whatever they’re working on - in a positive, encouraging group page here on Substack.
Tuesday Creations started on a social media site called Time Has Come which is the online presence of Graham Wardle. Some of you may know him from his 14 years on the Canadian television production, Heartland. Or you may know him from his popular podcast, also titled Time Has Come. For a couple of years Graham hosted his own social media site on Mighty Networks where he shared, among other things, his own poetry and offered a space on the site for members to share their creative endeavors, too. Tuesday became a day when members would share their creativity around a theme of the week. When Graham moved on from having his own site to offering all of his content on Substack, the members who were used to the creative community on Mighty Networks desired a space to continue to enjoy the collaboration and community they had known. Thus Tuesday Creations on Substack was born. You can now check out all of Graham’s content here on Substack: Time Has Come.
Tuesday Creations still offers a weekly theme as a prompt for writing, but members can post any of their creativity at any time as each paid subscriber becomes a site contributor. The group also participates in monthly live events as we seek to grow and learn creatively and get to know each other better.
This coming Sunday, September 7 at 4:00pm PDT, Tuesday Creations Live is hosting a writing workshop by Jan Stoneburner. Jan is a former high school and university English teacher who is excited to share some fun and simple exercises to enhance our writing skills and find inspiration. Jan is full of energy and has a strong sense of fun, so I predict this workshop will be a good time! If you’re interested in joining the workshop, just subscribe to Tuesday Creations as a free member to check out what the site has to offer and enjoy the workshop. If you’d like a taste of Jan’s own writing, you can check out her Substack page, That's Good To Know by clicking on the green letters here.
Again, if you’d like to visit Tuesday Creations, just click on the link provided here. We’d love to have you join our fun collaborative group or just read and see the content our talented members provide. Subscribe for free or become a contributor through a very reasonable paid membership. And of course you’d be welcome in the writing workshop on Sunday as well. If you subscribe, free or paid, before Sunday, you will get an email notification when the workshop goes live. Hope to see you in the live chat!
