I love traveling all over it’s the excitement and experience and meeting new people especially in different countries. Thank you for sharing all your adventures with Keith and friends. My heart is set for traveling to serve others on missions trip and I hope one day I can.
Love this post, Cathey💖💖. I need to get out and about more. I hope to do this now that my foot is making progress and I can get about easier. Nothing big, just a short stroll. Plus hope to take some photos.
Cathey, as I was reading your article, I started thinking about the next two "adventures" for me, a road trip in March(weather permitting) and a trip end of April to Tennessee...and other possible adventures this summer. Looking forward to hearing about your next adventure.
You are a shining example to me and so many others with your keen sense of adventure. I love that you just pick up and go when opportunities come along. We would love to get to Tennessee one of these adventures as well! I know you'll keep us updated on your travels!
I always enjoy your writings. “ Adventure” has many different meanings..That word to me means doing something I find happiness in….something not stagnant ..maybe even not repetitious..altho many situations during our day might clamor for such routine chores…Adventure does not have to be way out of my box either..I think it is ok to be happy and content too.. It saddens me when I read about someone being “ stuck” ..That word just is not in my vocabulary…
Love your thoughts here, Jan! You are spot on. Adventure doesn't have to be big, it's more a mindset of each new day offering up adventures big or small. Let's keep that spirit of adventure alive and never get "stuck"!
Wow Cathey, I have so many similar thoughts to those you express it’s uncanny. We have been planning and booking catch-up with our travels and socializing adventures this year and into 2025. Good luck with all your new adventures! Hugs.
I do love exploring. Nowadays we all have to be careful where we do so following others online is somewhat safer. Long gone are the days one can strike out on their own. Thank you and Keith for taking us along for the ride.
There are for sure some things to be aware of and some places are not as safe as they could be, but I don't believe we can live in fear of what "could" happen. So far, so good!
Oh my goodness, that photo of Alberta is wonderful. I need to go there right now. Looks so peaceful. You mentioned Taylor Sheridan. Me and my parents love Yellowstone and at one point wanted to buy property out West to build a cabin on a plot of land. Haha. Crazy stuff. I'm subscribing Cathey! Want to hear more about your adventures :)
Thanks, Thomas for reading and sharing! I can't wait to get back to Alberta as well - hopefully this early fall. And I grew up on a ranch in Montana in the foothills of the Rockies. Alberta reminds me a lot of where we lived. But there will be quite a few adventures coming soon as we head out in our rv to take in the beautiful places. Photos and stories to follow!
I love the word adventure, maybe I should use it more often. When we were young Cesar and I were more adventurous, but we are taking it up again, in May we are going on a trip to the Osorno volcano in southern Chile.
Little late in reading, but thank you Cathey for sharing. Life is an adventure, and like you say it's an individual choice for each of us as our journeys are different. After retiring last year, mine has been an adventure of learning and taking quick trips to the beach or mountains. Later this year, it will definitely a little different for me, but one of which I look forward to. Take care and God bless you my friend!
All adventures big and small are good! You have had an adventure of a different kind this past year and I have no doubt life has a few more in mind for you! Blessings!
We just stopped in Belize when our Carnival Elation cruise docked there. We only saw the beaches and downtown shopping area but the people were so welcoming and delightful to talk with.

I have a feeling you will return to the mission field one day!
I will never give up just to pass two of this Drs. and release I can travel missions again.

I'm so glad to hear your ankle is finally healing! I'm sure you have felt very tied down. You have many more adventures to look forward to!

I love how adventurous you continue to be! I believe adventuring helps keep us young! Enjoy your travels and socializing, Rita!

The pics are enough to bounce you out of complacency and get out there even if it is in your own neighbourhood. Thanks Cathey.
Thank you, Robyn. This trip was eye-opening for us and it did make us think about how much we have and what more we could be doing.

I love the idea of the online writing classes! I’m loving hearing of all of your adventures!!
The classes are something in the consideration stage right now. Book first!
Yes! Baby steps...and one step at a time.
Adventuring ( I love this word)…..my new mantra! Large or small, near or far….going to make things happen!
An adventure to Eastern Washington could be amazing. We SOMETIMES get northern lights. 🤗💗
Someday….promise!
When the time is right, the adventure will happen.
Such a great and inspiring article to “get out” in many different ways. My husband and I LOVE to travel! That is adventure to us.
Travel is something we really like to do together, too. It's fun to explore together.
We just stopped in Belize when our Carnival Elation cruise docked there. We only saw the beaches and downtown shopping area but the people were so welcoming and delightful to talk with.
Everyone we met in Belize was warm and welcoming!
By-the-way Cathey I loved the two photos you published with your poem😍
I love finding pretty places to photograph.
